Late to the party: Siren Elise Wilhelmsen’s 365 days knitting clock

These made a splash in the blogosphere back in July/August 2011 apparently – WHERE WAS I!? xD My lords this is such a great idea on Β behalf of the artist, Siren Elise Wilhelmsen, and I do hope they get released commercially.

Mechanical Knitting Nancy hooked up to a clock mechanism so that it slowly knits one round per day for 365 days. At the end of the year you’ve got a gorgeous tube scarf to commemorate the year that was.

Perhaps I’ll get a little impatient and challenge my Engineer Husband to make me one… ^_^;; πŸ˜‰

little BIG pants: 365 knitting clock.
